Keteleeria davidiana

Pinaceae (pine family)
China, Taiwan

A young tree was planted March 2006 just north of the Arizona Garden by the path to the Quarry Parking Lot. When mature, it would bear upright cones like Abies, but with persistent scales.

It was not found when looked for in 2018, almost certainly lost to construction.
