Shrub, to 30 feet tall, leaves 3–4+ inches long with pointed tip and toothed margins. Flowers to 8 inches wide, red, late summer to fall. Escondido Village studios 5 and 6, east side.
Name derivation: Hibiscus – Greek name for mallow; rosa-sinensis – Chinese rose.
