Grewia occidentalis lavender starflower
South Africa
Shrub, sprawling, 6 to 10 feet tall and almost as wide, with dark green, oblong, finely-toothes 3-inch long leaves. Coomon name for its 1-inch wide, lavender pink, star-shapped flowers, with yellow centers, blooming late spring and sporadically into fall. Only known campus location at Hanna House has been lost.
