Walk along Constanzo St. between Santa Ynez and Dolores to see a copse of giant reed. Like the naturalized grasses Cortaderia selloana and C. jubata, it has been widely planted as an ornamental and has also proved to be a serious wildland weed: Invasive Plants of California Wildlands
