Flowers and blue-green phyllodes of Acacia covenyi on Campus Drive, behind the Knight Management Center. Sairus Patel, 3 Mar 2019
See this beautiful, fast-growing shrubby tree on Campus Drive behind the Knight Management Center, opposite Maples Pavilion (location). Three remain of the eight or so planted in 2013.
The blue-green phyllodes are up to 2½ inches long, with one central longitudinal vein. They are almost entirely engulfed by masses of lemon yellow flowers in February and March.
